Q: I installed the software according to the Installation Guide. Every time I try to start the application, I get System Exception Error. What am I doing wrong?

A: Most likely you don't have printer defined on your system. Go to the Control Panel and define a printer of any type even if you don't have one physically connected to your computer.

Q: Does the check box in the archive dialog "Remove After Archive" mean that the file will be removed from my hard disk?

A: No. The system makes a copy of the file and send it to the SQL server as a BLOB -- Binary Large Object -- The check box prevents you from archiving the same document twice by removing the document name from the list.

Q: The Export function does not seem to work, How do I export graphics files?

A: Before you click export, select the export format. Even if you are exporting to JPEG, select a different format then select JPEG. This bug is fixed in the new version 5.1 and above.

Q: Can I export my documents to a CD and take them on the road without having to install SQL server on my laptop?

A: Yes, version 5.5 includes a CD Publisher that allows you to make a snap shot of your database that does not require the SQL server.
